Pinery Provincial Park (Ontario)
May 2007

Once again, we spend our Memorial Day weekend at Pinery Provincial Park in Ontario, located on beautiful Lake Huron. The weather was a bit wet, but not so much that it kept us from doing the things we enjoy (fish, eat, and jump around the sand dunes).

The highlight of our trip was the great fishing. Matthew and Douglas spent nearly all of their time at Burley Bridge, where they caught fish of all varieties in great quantity. Douglas caught a monsterous bowfin (also called a dogfish) and Matthew caught a carp the size of a small school bus (or so it seemed).

Jeanne and I spend quality time with the boys and did a fair bit of hiking. We also met up with our friends the Jensens for some fishing and sunset viewing.
